Hinchingbrooke
from the South-West
This
room was originally the Nun's church, divided into two floors after the
dissolution.
The
room as it exists today is mainly the product of 18th and 19th century
tastes.
Stained
glass (here and here
- large files) was installed by John, 4th Earl of Sandwich, and shows
the pedigree of the Montagu family. It was designed byWilliam Peckitt
of York.
